In the stillness of the Amazon, Demetrio, a revered Shipibo shaman with over 30 years of vegetalismo wisdom, crafts Ayahuasca with a sacred touch that sets his ceremonies apart. Unlike others, Demetrio begins his preparation under the new moon, when he believes the jungle’s spirits are most receptive. He hand-selects each vine and chacruna leaf, whispering Shipibo prayers to honor their essence, ensuring the brew carries the forest’s deepest healing energy. Guided by visions from his own plant diets, he infuses the Ayahuasca with specific icaros during its slow simmering, weaving protective energies into the medicine. This unique ritual, passed down through his Shipibo-Konibo lineage, creates a potent elixir that resonates with the selva’s heartbeat, offering profound clarity and connection in every ceremony. The ceremony is designed to support emotional release, spiritual clarity, and physical renewal, helping participants let go of blockages and connect with a deeper sense of balance and purpose.
